Questions I Get Frequently Asked
1. Where do you get your ideas? Most writers cannot answer this question, because the story seems to flow out of us from nowhere, or everywhere. But I will attempt to answer this enquiry. At least from my perspective, I seem to see the world through different lenses. For instance, I can look at a tree in the fall, and through one lens I observe the beautiful colors of red, brown, and yellow leaves as they fall gently to the ground, but I can also switch my lens to something darker. I can see death, the end, its twisted braches reaching to the grey lit sky shouting, “Save US!” I then imagine what about this tree do I find beautiful. What about this tree do I find menacing. From there, my mind starts to wonder almost in an almost dreamlike state, as I began to move my fingers upon my keyboard and eventually a story starts to form.
2. How much are your books? Now this is a very complicated question. Sadly, I do not have much control over the pricing of the books. That is totally up to the publishing house and what they decide. I will be having fun giveaways and contest throughout the promotional period though, where lucky winners will receive the book and maybe some other things as the prize.
3. When will your book come out? Creating a book is a very lengthy process. From the moment the idea for a story is conceived, till the finished product of paper, or pixels is in your hands. I will keep you up to date on what stage the book is in as it progresses.
4. How can I contact you? Ah, now this question is simple. All you need to do is just go to the: Send Feedback /Contact us page and fill out the easy form. I will try to get back with you as promptly as I can.
5. Who are your influence’s in your writing? I draw influence from many people, and many things that enter and exit my life. As far as what authors I like to read, well of course I read a lot of Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I also really enjoy reading Joe Hill. I found his book “NOS4A2” simply amazing, and can’t wait to see what else he can conjure up. I also love the Grey Griffin series by Derek Benz & J. S. Lewis. That series started out as a bed time story for my daughter and eventually was what inspired me to start writing.
